Amitabh Bachchan to act in TV serial
After months of speculation about Amitabh Bachchan acting in a TV serial, the cat is finally out of the bag.
Amitabh Bachchan will feature in a mega-budget TV serial. Anurag Kashyap is the creative director of the series. And reportedly Amitabh Bachchan has co-produced it with Endemol.
The legendary actor made his first TV debut with the show Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 years ago. Big B, who wrapped up the sixth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, will begin shooting for the show from next week.
Amitabh Bachchan made his Hollywood debut with The Great Gatsby this year, which also opened the 66th Cannes Film Festival in France. Apart from Big B, the movie features Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in the lead.
