Land allotment case postponed by 4 weeks
New Delhi: The Supreme Court will consider the plea filed by opposition leader V S Achuthanandan to cancel the FIR filed against him in the land allotment case, by four weeks.
The court ruling came after taking into account the plea filed by VS relative T K Soman and his personal assistant A Suresh seeking more time for them to submit the counter affidavit.
The case is that VS had allotted land to his relative while serving as chief minister. Justices P Sadasivam and Ranjan Gegoi headed bench heard the plea.
